Stellenbosch

South Africa combines beautiful nature with industry. It takes just a few hours to get from a bustling city to the untouched wilderness. It's a once in a lifetime experience you shouldn't miss.

Our partner university in Stellenbosch deals with topics such as automation and industry 4.0., in which you can complete your practical semester or your thesis.

The area around Stellenbosch is well known for its student life, so you won't have any problems spending a good time here after work.

Due to the size of the university with almost 28,000 students, international contacts and friendships are not long in coming!

Cape Town

Cape Town is one of the capitals of South Africa. Here we have two universities with which we maintain close contact.

One is the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT). Here we have 2-4 places available for a practical semester or a thesis on topics such as automation or design.

The other is the South African Renewable Energy Technology Centre (Saretec). Here, too, up to two students can complete an internship semester or a thesis in the field of renewable energies.

Before you are allowed to enter South Africa for a longer period of time you have to apply for a visa and because the cost of living is similar to Germany you have to plan a budget of 5.000-10.000€ for one semester.
